Whatever Punxsutawney Phil said I never expected as early a spring as we have now. Anxious to get on your bike you’ve been wondering about the trail conditions and calling over to Slim & Knobby’s to see if they’ve been out and if they know what’s going on over in Dutch or on the new trail across the Sorensen Property.

The conditions are favorable but require some more time to dry out. Don’t get daunted by the mud but please don’t ride on wet trails. The ruts that tires cut in the mud remain all season and are undesirable at best. You won’t be getting any props because you destroyed a trail. So take care of them.

This goes for all trail users including equestrians. There is a lot of work that goes on to maintain trails for everyone’s enjoyment. And soon we’ll all be out there having a blast!

Meanwhile, there is talk that our first map will be ready in May! And also there’s word that the trail across the Sorensen property will cut all the way to Center Street this season!
